The art installation was created as a commissioned work for the 2022/23 season opening “Postwütiges Paradies” at Schauspielhaus
Dortmund – in collaboration with Janina Linkowski.
It was originally intended to be mounted above the main entrance. Measuring 300 × 100 × 80 centimeters, the piece served as the
stage set for the season’s opening.
Since it was to be installed on the roof above the main entrance, the greatest challenge was selecting weather-resistant materials.
In May 2025, the installation was sold to the Zollverein Coal Mine Industrial Complex in Essen, where it will be on display in the future.
